College (University)
University or a dormitory or community withing a University
College in the US is usually (but not always) used in reference to a tertiary educational facility that provides undergraduate (Bachelors), but generally no (or limited) graduate degrees (i.e. Masters and PhDs). In which case "University" in the US is usually reserved for those tertiary institutions that grant both undergraduate (Bachelors) as well as graduate (Masters and Phd) degrees. In Australia "College" can mean a "high school" as well as a dormitory community on a University Campus. Whereas all tertiary institutions in Australia are termed Universities (never "Colleges") and are often abbreviated to "Uni".
